When you use our contact or correction forms, we collect your email address, your message, and optionally your name and the guide your message relates to. We use this information only to read and reply to your message. We never add you to a mailing list without your permission.
Calculator and Symptom Explorer inputs
Numbers you enter into our calculators are processed in your browser and are not stored on our servers. When you use the Symptom Explorer, your selected answers are sent to our server only to show the next step. These choices are not linked to your identity and are not kept as a personal history.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. We use this information to keep the site secure, fix errors and understand how the site is used.
